Thanksgiving comes early this year at the IMAGINE Burger Beast Thanksgiving Dinner Food Truck Challenge. On Thursday, November 14, twenty-two of South Florida’s best food trucks will be serving up their Thanksgiving-inspired dishes as they compete for the title of “Top Turkey.”

Hosted in the valet lot at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the event is part of the hotel’s sixth annual IMAGINE THERE’S NO HUNGER campaign – where they challenge South Florida to step-up globally and locally to benefit the community-in-need. For all alcoholic beverages sold during the evening at the house bars located around the lot, $1 will be donated to The Pantry of Broward. Canned and non-perishable foods will also be collected at the entrance of the event for donation to The Pantry of Broward.

During the evening, each truck will be serving their special Thanksgiving creation along with their regular menu. The feast and festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. with the “Top Turkey” being crowned by a panel comprised of Cari Garcia of Fat Girl Hedonist; Steven Scharf of The Chowfather; Christine Najac of South Florida Food & Wine; Justin Wyborn, vice president of Food & Beverage at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek and Seminole Classic Casino, and yours truly.
