Claudie’s Power Lunch Turns Your Midday Into a Mini Escape

Claudie Miami is quietly rewriting what a midday break can look like, and honestly, we’re here for the upgrade. Available Monday through Friday from noon to 3 pm, the new $38 prix fixe menu delivers a curated lineup of signature dishes that feel anything but routine. Of course, if you’re feeling a little extra, the à la carte menu is right there waiting to tempt you. We did both. No regrets.

It was a Friday. The mood was celebratory and cocktails were a must. Claudie’s drink menu leans into the sun soaked spirit of Saint Tropez, and it shows. The Claudie Paloma swaps tradition for a floral twist with mezcal and elderflower, landing bright and refreshing. Then there’s the Menthe de Menton, a Mediterranean take on a mojito layered with pastis and green cardamom. We could have stopped there. We didn’t.

Before anything officially begins, an amuse bouche arrives. And let’s just say it louder for the restaurants in the back. This should always happen. It’s a small gesture that instantly shifts the mood with a small gesture that sets the mood.

The Claudie Caesar keeps things light with a tuna dressing and a hit of marjoram that adds a subtle peppery edge. No heavy coating. Just crisp, balanced, and refreshing. Crab Croquettes come three to an order with romesco sauce, which basically guarantees sharing will happen. Then came the Zucchini Carpaccio with pistachio vinaigrette. Unexpected, vibrant, and easily the favorite at the table.

The Rigatoni arrives coated in a spicy arrabbiata with basil that delivers exactly what you want from a pasta moment. Faroe Island Salmon is cooked with precision, paired with broccoli and a basil verge sauce. And then there’s the Chicken Paillard. Thin, beautifully plated, topped with capers, sliced almonds, and lime zest.

It almost feels too pretty to cut into. Almost.

From the à la carte side, the Black Truffle Croque Monsieur made an entrance. Comté, ham, crisp edges, cut into four perfect pieces and finished with shaved black truffle. Rich without being overwhelming. We almost ordered the Claudie Burger with cheddar and caramelized onions. Next time. It’s already decided.

Dessert doesn’t overstay its welcome here, which is exactly the point. Lavender Crème Brûlée brings a soft floral finish. A quenelle of homemade Pistachio Sorbet delivers a cool, nutty contrast. And the Tropezienne Tart with orange blossom and bourbon vanilla ice cream sandwiches it all together with a hint of Riviera nostalgia.

So… is lunch worth dressing up for again? At Claudie, the answer is yes. Go for the prix fixe. Add a cocktail. Stay a little longer than planned. Your inbox can wait.
