Like they say — all good things must come to an end and such is the case with #BourbonMonth. Sadly, September is only 30 days but man did we pack a lot of bourbon-filled content and events into those days along with our good friends at Bulleit for our annual bourbon month celebration.
Throughout the month we were able to showcase some of the city’s best bartenders making their favorite Bulleit bourbon drinks, create the perfect ice cube for all of the bourbon cocktails courtesy of the Neat Ice Kit, and even infuse our bourbon into a perfect Old Fashioned.
Not only were we able to feature some great bourbon-themed content but we also had the opportunity to do two bourbon-filled events. The first event took place at the Broken Shaker where Gio and Diageo’s Whiskey Ambassador Todd Richman took over the bar and created their favorite Bulleit bourbon drinks for the crowd. The following evening we teamed up with Lure Fishbar and Bulleit Bourbon to bring the “South to South Beach” during our annual bourbon dinner. Chef John Latrellis created down home inspired dishes such as Crispy East Coast Oysters, Deviled Eggs topped with Caviar and Baby Back Ribs paired with Robert Ferrara’s inventive Bulleit bourbon cocktails.
