Two-times James Beard Award semifinalist Chef Jose Mendin is teaming up with ‘Iron Chef’ competitor Makoto Okuwa of Stephen Starr’s buzzing Japanese restaurant, Makoto, for a pop-up Miami Spice dinner at Pubbelly on Tuesday, August 27, 2013. The talented duo will go course-for-course to offer a traditional Izakaya (Japanese Pub) menu for the promotional Miami Spice price of $33 per person.
