Loba

Opening a restaurant is always a risk. Jessica Sanchez, a 28-year-old self-described “she wolf”, took that risk. Investing her life savings and listening to that inner whisper, Sanchez opened Loba a 50-seat space in Miami’s MiMo district.

Sanchez describes the menu as latin american dishes with southern influences, but went on to say that it’s open to interpretation leaving room for her to play.  Even cooler, Sanchez partnered up with Florida International University’s hospitality management program in order to give aspiring chefs/hospitality professionals a chance to thrive.
