Every summer Jose Mendin and the Pubbelly Boys launch their annual series, where every Wednesday night the restaurant offers a special PB Burger menu featuring a different standout burger created by local food personalities — and this week the Chat Chow TV’s burger is set to make its grand debut!

Over the past six weeks friends of Pubbelly (and Chat Chow) like Evan Benn, Lee Brian Schrager, Fat Girl Hedonist and more have created special meaty masterpieces. But Pubbelly saved the best for last with our Frita creation hitting the menu for one-night only on July 27.

The special “Frita con Frito and Frites” will feature a house blend patty of brisket, chuck, sirloin and nduja sausage, one huevo frito, topped with frites and a secret sauce, available from 6p.m. till midnight for $14. Plus, $1 from each burger sold will go to the Blended Burger Project who’s mission is to raise awareness for the mission of healthy and sustainable cooking.

Of course it wouldn’t be a proper Chat Chow burger without a cocktail pairing and Gio will be whipping up Classic Hand Shaken Daiquiris with Facundo NEO to pair with the frita all evening long.

“I love pairing a daiquiri with a burger. Citrus and salt are a match made in heaven. The acid from the lime really cuts through the fat of the meat and clears the way for another bite.”

Finally, a Happy Meal for adults.
