It’s Oktoberfest time – and we’ve found the best places to eat, drink and be merry throughout Miami. So dust off that lederhosen and channel your inner-German because it is time to celebrate at some of these great spots.

Shacktoberfest at Shake Shack
Everyone’s favorite burger outpost gets into the spirit by filling its menu with limited edition Oktoberfest offerings such a Cheddar Brat Burgers, German Chocolate Concretes and Shacktoberfest Bier Stein draft beer.

Oaktoberfest at Oak Tavern
To celebrate Oktoberfest South Florida style, Oak Tavern chef and owner David Bracha is teaming up with Miami-based Esquire magazine beer writer Evan Benn for a four-course beer dinner. Benn will match craft brews from the U.S., Germany and beyond with the German themed menu filled with items like duck pizza, brined pork shoulder, and house made pretzels.

Royal Bavarian Schnitzel Haus
This German restaurant located in North Miami is celebrating by offering a traditional Oktoberfest menu throughout the month of October. Highlights include pretzel crusted chicken, Oktoberfest bratwurst, Bavarian beef sliders, smoked pork chops and red cabbage.

WOBtoberfest 2013 at World of Beer Midtown Miami
Celebrating the first ever Oktoberfest in Midtown, WOBtoberfest 2013 will feature live music, pretzel eating contests, corn hole, raffles and, of course, plenty of German beer.

Wynwood Brewery
The newly opened Wynwood Brewing Company is Miami’s first craft production brewery located in the heart Wynwood Art District. To celebrate Oktoberfest, its tap room will be open to the public so everyone can get a first taste of the beers on draft.

Skybar at the Shore Club
This outdoor bar is transforming nightly into a German beer garden – South Beach style. Open daily, Skybar Beer Garden will feature a craft beer menu and a special Oktoberfest appetizer menu all month long.

Coral Gables Oktoberfest
Presented by Fritz & Franz Bierhaus, the ten day beer, food and music festival will take place on the plaza daily in front of Fritz & Franz Bierhaus. The event will feature live entertainment performed by top Austrian bands, a beer garden, a Yodeling contest, Nailing contest, a Cycle Party, a Bratwurst-eating contest, all-you-can-eat buffets, drink specials and plenty of beer.

Grovetoberfest
For the third year, the largest beer festival in Florida will take over Coconut Grove’s Peacock Park with more than 250 craft beers from around the country for guests to sample. The festival will also include live music, Milam’s Kitchen Lab hosted by some of South Florida’s top chefs such as Giorgio Rapicavoli from Eating House and Michael Pirolo from Macchialina Taverna Rustica , Miami’s Best Homebrew Contest and the ever-popular Safe Ride Home option, for those who sample more than they can handle.

Oktoberfest at the Abbey Brewing Company
This Miami Beach staple is hosting its 18th annual Oktoberfest in style by offering patrons $5 craft beers, well drinks and jagermeister shots, along with complimentary German “Pub Grub” during its daytime festival.
