They say two heads are better than one; well in this case, three restaurants are better than one. Andreas Schreiner, Jose Mendin and Sergio Navarro are the proud creators of Pubbelly, Pubbelly Sushi and Barceloneta.
Whilst all three restaurants are marvels, they had us at sushi. This Asian inspired Gastropub has made its way to South Beach infamy and is now the go-to for sushi lovers in Miami.
If you haven’t yet experienced the fusion of flavors that Pubbelly puts together oh-so-well, get ready for an explosion of happiness in your mouth. “We don’t conform to any cuisine, we just have fun with it, we cook from our inspirations, our travels, our heritages and it just makes for a really interesting menu,” explains Schreiner. You can expect eccentric dishes like a Softshell Crab BLT, Tostones Con Ceviche, Tuna Pizza and Miso Black Cod.
The experience wouldn’t be complete without their unique beverage concept. A wine list focused on boutique growers from Europe and the Americas, and an ever-changing International beer list that can satisfy any pallet. Don’t fret, they also have an awesome sake selection that you can have pure, or as a cocktail complimented by their intricate recipes.
Enjoy the relaxed, intimate and fun dining ambience in a tavern setting. That’s just how they roll.
